She was a beloved daughter, niece, sister, cousin, and friend. She had so much potential. She loved fashion, design, modeling and so much more. She was silly, funny, tough, gentle and so strong. Unfortunately, the struggles that Valeigha endured from childhood affected her teenage years and then her adult life. Someone with so much light and potential was defeated by mental health and addiction. She did not have the tools that she needed to survive in this world. However, Valeigha left us with a very important message; that is to save and protect as many of our youth girls as possible. We need to love them, nurture them, guide them and most importantly we need to never give up on them. Leigha's Girls is a non-profit organization that has been created in her honor to show girls that their lives have meaning and to show them how bright they can shine.
